Johann Heubach

Johann is an Operating Partner at Comitis Capital.

Johann brings vast experience in scaling businesses both operationally and from a board position working with entrepreneurs.

After driving the development of Heubach Group, a leading global producer of organic, inorganic, and non-toxic anti-corrosive pigments for more than a decade, Johann repositioned his more than 200 year old family business by acquiring Clariant’s Colorants business in 2022. The combined Heubach Group is now the leading producer of color pigments globally with revenues in excess of €1bn. He recently moved from CEO of Heubach Group to a board position.

In addition, he acts as a board member of Penox Group, the global leader for performance enhancing additives of lead acid batteries with operations in Europe, Mexico and Korea.

Until its sale to Unilever in 2019, he was the Chairman of the board of Good People SA (frufru & Urban Monkey), Romania’s market leader in fresh convenience food.

He is also the co-founder of SREI (Salzburg Real Estate Investment Group) and CEO of Heubach Invest. Both companies engage in the development and holding of residential and commercial real estate in Eastern Europe.
